Beer tasting evening

Previous Thursday we went to a beer tasting evening. We got to taste 7 different Belgian beers (not all that good). The pub is called 't Vliegend Varken ('The Flying Pig') en they even have an own beer. In this pub they serve over 80 Belgian beers... After the tasting we went to several other pubs in downtown Leuven (yes, a student's life is hard :-D)

'Night of the Bad Taste'

October 19th: in the evening I went to a filmevent called 'Nacht van de Wansmaak' ('Night of the Bad Taste'). During 3 hours Jan Verheyen (he is a 'famous' Belgian filmfreak) showed us some of the worst, sickest, hilarious (meaning the film was so bad it was funny to see)... filmtrailers and filmparts like a Korean King Kong, several sexploitation films, cannibalmovies, and last but not least: a complete movie that shows us the operation of a woman doing a complete make-over ;-)
